MAD SKILLS CENTRE

    1. Company History

MAD Squad was established more than 20years ago in the backyard of its founding member Mr. Aubrey September. The Centre Started of as a Feeding Scheme and a Day Care only.

In 2003 the organization was registered as an N.G.O. and signed a lease with the City of J.H.B. to use the Youth Development Building. This was an opportunity for the centre to expand into other areas like Skills Development. This is when we started partnering with the Department of Social Development, and included life skills training, Computer Training, Welding Training and Boiler Making Training as part of our services.

    1. What we do

M.A.D. Squad offers all its services to the community of Ennerdale and surrounding areas. All our Training is currently subsidised by the Department of Social Development and learners do not pay for any Training. Our training is aimed at getting learners job ready and thus include a lot of practical work.

Most of our learners are places in jobs or learnerships upon completion of their training.

Some of our learners have been accepted at companies like Eskom, Anglo, and different mining companies.

Everyday at the Making A Difference Skills Centre, is like a blessing with the active students and talented staff members around.
